About the event
The Something to Say Lunch is a unique lunchtime fundraiser that supports therapy scholarships for youth in our community that otherwise may not be able to access services. During the event, guests will take part in an immersive, non-speaking lunch and communicate using only augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Each table will be provided with a variety of ways to communicate like iPads with AAC apps, whiteboards, and more. It’s a powerful (and often eye-opening) experience that helps people better understand how individuals who use AAC in their everyday lives share their thoughts, needs, and personalities while supporting a great cause!
