Katie Gervais
Speech-Language Pathologist/Orthophoniste
Katie Gervais, M.Sc.S., Reg. CASLPO
Born and raised in Timmins, Katie offers a unique and inclusive approach to speech and
language therapy and is happy to offer services in both French and English. She holds
a master's degree in Orthophonie from Laurentian University. She is registered with the
College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists (CASLPO) and a member
with Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC).
With a passion for helping children communicate effectively, Katie has developed
experience working with preschool and school aged children in school and clinic
settings. Katie enjoys working in several areas, including, Augmentative and Alternative
Communication (AAC), speech sound disorders, fluency, and early language
development. Katie will be completing advanced training in literacy and will be providing
literacy intervention services. She is certified in Hanen It Takes Two To Talk, Hanen
More Than Words, and Hanen Target Word, and completed trainings such as Motor
Speech 201, Preschool Fluency, and A Trauma Informed Lens in Speech Language
Pathology.
When not working with clients, Katie enjoys walking her dog Sadie, indulging in arts and
crafts, and playing board games with friends and family. Katie is excited to provide
services in the Timmins area.
