Communication Disorders Assistant - Timmins

 

Nicole Lindsay, B.A., CDA

Nicole is a Communicative Disorders Assistant graduate from Georgian college with an undergraduate degree in Linguistics from the University of Ottawa.  Nicole has spent the last 20 years working as a CDA primarily in North Bay at  the school board and the Children's Treatment Centre. In 2023, Nicole joined the Bright Spot Team and began providing bilingual speech services in Timmins, Cochrane, Matheson, and Iroquois Falls. 

 

Nicole's particular area of professional interest includes parent training sessions such as SPARK and 4i's (Hanen) as well as motor speech and early language intervention. All services are provided under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist.  Nicole is also be expanding her skillset and is currently training to support Ms. Julie and Ms. Erin to provide occupational therapy assistant services (particularly in Cochrane, Iroquois Falls, and Matheson).

 

In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with family and friends near and far.
